Welcome to Social Anthropology!

Social Anthropology studies humans as society builders and upholders of culture. Today social anthropologists embark on lengthy field studies all over the world, doing research on as diverse phenomena as pilgrimages on Java and the cosmology of nano-scientists. Social Anthropology gives us a deeper understanding of the lives and thoughts of other people. An anthropological comparative and critical attitude also adds new perspectives on our own society.
