Professor Evelina Dagnino guest researcher at School of Global Studies, Sep-Oct 2011

Professor Evelina Dagnino, from Campinas University in Brazil will guest the School of Global Studies during the period 12 September-11 October 2011, invited with the funds of Hilding Svahns fond.

Evelina Dagnino has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Stanford University, USA, and is a Full Professor of Political Science at the University of Campinas, S. Paulo, Brazil. She has several books and articles published in several countries, most recently the chapter 'Civil Society in Latin America', in Oxford Handbook on Civil Society (2011). During her visit Evelina Dagnino will give a research seminar and an open seminar within the issues of civil society in Latin America and Brazil. Please see the calendar for more details.
