Developing cities in Asia are going through dynamic changes that influence conditions for daily life. One of these changes is the spreading of the modern lifestyle. Due to a number of drivers for societal and social change there is a growing demand for moving around in cities. This report targets the demand for access and mobility in Asian cities. Which are the local actors involved in finding suitable responses to the problems associated with increasing use of motor vehicles in cities? And what strategies do national and international actors in the field of transport opt for?
