We collaborate with the National University of Rwanda (NUR) on a capacity building project, "Reconciliation and Reconstruction in Rwanda", which is funded by SIDA.
SIDA provides institutional support for the construction of a sustainable, national research capacity in Rwanda, which is achieved through research training, development of a long-term research strategy, and increased research collaboration. Our main partner in cooperation is the Center for Conflict Management (CCM) at NUR. Our cooperation started in 2002 and it has been extended several times.

We expect to gradually increase the focus on joint research projects, thus benefitting from the improved capacity at CCM. We are also aiming to build a global network of universities working within the field of reconstruction of war torn societies, peace building and reconciliation.
