Economic anthropology: everyday economies; livelihoods; consumption; living standard; morality, intimacy and economy. Latin America, The Caribbean, Cuba

Current research

Dissertation project on everyday economies in Havana, Cuba. Special focus on moral negotiations in everyday economic life.

PhD project: LIvelihood strategies in Hvana, Cuba.

Teaching and tutoring

  • Teaches anthropology and global studies.
  • Supervise at the undergraduate level, Swedish and Spanish as mother tongues.

Field experience

  • Eight months of fieldwork in Havana, Cuba within Ph D Project, funded by Knut och Alice Wallenbergs Stiftelse, Stiftelsen Lars Hiertas Minne and Sida/SAREC (2006-2007).
  • Minor Field Study (MFS) in Colima, Mexico (2004), funded by Sida.
