PhD Student
I hold a Degree of Bachelor in Social Anthropology at Stockholm University, and since 2004 I am a PhD student at University of Gothenburg. I have presented papers at European gender conferences and Spanish, Swedish and Norwegian anthropology conferences.
I speak and write Swedish, English and Spanish.
Initiating a network for feminist anthropologists in Sweden.
Spain and the Mediterranean region, urban anthropology, feminist theory, gender and change in relation to sexuality, the body, motherhood, globalization and the neo-liberal order, power, political economy, space.
I write my thesis about gender and cultural change in an urban Spanish area (Valencia). The work is based on fieldwork carried out 2005-2007 and is part of a re-study in collaboration with Professor Britt-Marie Thurén, who conducted the first study in the area 25 years earlier.
I teach at undergraduate level in social anthropology and global studies, including an Erasmus-course.
