Andreas has extensive experience of politics and administration in academia, e.g. as a member of the university board (2006) and president of Göteborg university Ph D committee (2007).
Climate change, knowledge production, interdisciplinarity, environmental policy, history of environmental ideas, environmental ethics, ecology, history and development of human ecology.
Andreas is working with a thesis about knowledge production in the climate change regime. The dissertation is based on theory and methods from fields such as human ecology, scientometrics, science studies and political science. He has so far analyzed assessment reports from IPCC with the aim of demonstrating favored disciplines, research community structures and degrees of interdisciplinarity in climate change related research. Andreas is currently analyzing influences of science on climate policy.
Andreas has experience of teaching and supervision on undergraduate levels about ethical theory and environmental philosophy, evolutionary and ecological theory, environmental science, climate change research and politics, research methods and essay writing.
