Forskare från Institutionen för globala studier är representerat i 7 projekt som nyligen fick stöd från Centre for Globalization and Development.

Planning Grants
Centret tog emot 14 ansökningar. Styrelsen beviljade 3 projekt, varav två inkluderar forskare från Institutionen för globala studier. Varje projekt fick 75,000:

• "Outsourcing industrial production to the informal sector: Women small scale producers and home-worker through time and space" - Gunilla Blomqvist, Institutionen för globala studier; Anja K. Franck, Ekonomisk geografi; Ann Ighe, Ekonomisk historia; Malin Nilsson, Ekonomisk historia.
• "The new developers? The roles of circular migrants in policy and practice" - Lisa Åkesson, Maria Eriksson Baaz; Marita Eastmond, alla från Institutionen för globala studier.

Small Research Grants
Centret tog emot 22 ansökningar. Styrelsen bestämde att ge stöd till 6 projekt, varav 5 inkluderar forskare från Institutionen för globala studier:

• "The effects of the present crises on the Swedish commitment to global governance and increased global inclusion - an empirical study of the implementation of Swedish policy for global development" (140,000) - Ann-Marie Ekengren, Statsvetenskap; Hans Abrahamsson, Institutionen för globala studier.
• "The labour standards controversy: Feminist perspectives from the North, South and East" (85,000) - Edmé Dominguez, Institutionen för globala studier; Anja K. Franck, Ekonomisk geografi.
• "Studying the agency of being governed - Workshop at School of Global Studies, May 19-20, 2010" (125,000) - Stina Hansson; Sofie Hellberg, båda från Institutionen för globala studier.
• "Soldier salaries and predatory behaviour in DR Congo: A critical assessment" (300,000) - Maria Eriksson Baaz, Institutionen för globala studier; Ola Olsson, Ekonomi.
• "Security in South America: The role of international organizations" (200,000) - Michael Schulz; Rodrigo Tavares, båda från Institutionen för globala studier.
